We are so excited to have you share your time & talents with us!!
PLEASE read ALL the important EVENT rules/guidelines below and ensure you provide us with as much information on your proposed show as possible!!

• Applications will accepted from Jan 15, 2025 to February 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. PACIFIC.
• The 2025 Desert Fringe Festival is March 28-30,2025.
• All Artists are required to check-in thirty minutes before performance time,
• There will be one Tech. Time TBD.
• All those submitting MUST read the ‘Before You Apply” performer info packet – which you can view under the BEFORE YOU APPLY tab
• If you are selected for the Festival, the ‘Before You Apply’ document will be a required part of your contract with the Festival and you and your team will be expected to uphold ALL of the rules and guidelines listed within. Please carefully review and contact us if you require clarification.

APPLYING TO THE DESERT FRINGE
Please read ALL of the information below BEFORE applying – even if you are a Fringe Alumni from other Fringe locations, this may be a bit different from what you’ve experienced.

• All the information and guidelines presented here are part of you and/or your team's contract with the Desert Fringe.
  ​ Applications will be open January 15, 2025 to February 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
• All applicants to the Desert Fringe festival are 13 and older; if under 18, artist(s) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Application Fee: $20 (due on submission of application, non-refundable)
• Production Fee for 2025 is to be decided, pending sponsorships and grant allocations,  but no more than $100.00.
• Profit Share of the net profit of the festival will be divided among each performance group (whether individual or up to six people).

WHAT TYPE OF SHOW/MEDIUM WORKS BEST AT THE DESERT FRINGE?

• The Festival will be curated from the applications received.
• All productions/performances are either original one person plays or shows/performances that can be done with a cast and production team of no more than 6 team members.
• All music needs to be original, in the Lublin domain, or the performer must show proof of having paid all licensing fees,
• If you are presenting a new take on a theatre piece that is not in the public domain, you must show proof of having paid all licensing fees.
• We are accepting applications for THEATRE, MUSIC, DANCE, STAND-UP, IMPROV, and WORKSHOPS​

Rehearsal/Tech Schedule
You will have one Tech/Walk-through opportunity.. Please note all accepted Fringe shows must be available for Tech. Time TBD.

Marketing/PR
Desert Fringe will make great efforts to promote the festival and its performers (publishing the online fringe program/guide, social media campaigns, outreach events, press releases, etc.) HOWEVER, it is critical to note that each production is responsible for promoting it own show. AND YES, YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A POSTER/FLYER!
